About the Pathfinder Society

Pathfinder Society Organized Play is a worldwide fantasy roleplaying campaign that puts YOU in the role of an agent of the Pathfinder Society, a legendary league of explorers, archaeologists, and adventurers dedicated to discovering and chronicling the greatest mysteries and wonders of an ancient world beset by magic and evil.

The campaign’s home base is sprawling Absalom, the so-called City at the Center of the World, that stands astride the great Inner Sea on the mountain-capped Isle of Kortos. A Pathfinder’s adventures explore the dark alleys and political intrigue of Absalom between far-flung travels to the most interesting and exotic locales in the world of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

In Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you play a member of the Pathfinder Society, seeking fortune and glory all over the face of Golarion. At the same time, your character works for one of the competing factions, all with their own motivations and secret agendas.

Play is organized into Seasons, throughout which the actions and achievements of you and your fellow Pathfinders create an ongoing storyline. Each season consists of at least 28 Pathfinder Society scenarios (short, 4-hour adventures) set in a variety of exotic locations across Golarion.

About the Site

The Pathfinder Society of Kentucky is dedicated to the support and creation of Pathfinder Society events within the state of Kentucky. Cities like Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, Frankfort, Owensboro, and Paducah all have long standing gaming societies and it is our job to support those groups, promote Pathfinder Society play, and do whatever we can to support their efforts in creating and maintaining events. This site is a place that can be used as a centralized resource for current news, introduction information for new players, and a hub of communication between the various Pathfinder Society groups within the state. The Venture-Captain and the Venture-Organizers are here to help support you in any way they can, so don't hesitate to reach out to them with questions or needs.

If you are someone who is interested in helping make this happen and want to volunteer to run a few scenarios please contact me and let me know. I'll do whatever I can to get you in touch with the right people and offer whatever support I have available.

Thanks for visiting, and I look forward to seeing you at the table!

Upcoming Games

  • We had an excellent turnout for August 10th at Louisville Game Shop with three tables being run and everyone having a great time. Our next event in Louisville is August 24th when we will be running The Hydra's Fang Incident plus another as of yet undetermined scenario. Come out and have a great afternoon with us. See our Warhorn page at https://warhorn.net/events/kentucky-pfs for sign-ups or drop us a message on the boards. Gaming starts at 1pm with a Pathfinder Society Q/A session starting at 12pm. We hope to see you there!
  • D20 Hobbies is hosting Pathfinder Tuesdays each week in Lexington. With plenty of room for gaming and an excellent staff this is a sure fire place to get your PFS fix in. Check the forums for more information and to sign up for a spot.
  • Bi-weekly games are running in full swing at Moonlite Comics on Saturdays. Nate and others are currently running lower tier adventures and are welcoming new players. The store is at two tables on each gaming Saturday and will soon be running a third. Come on out and join in!
  • ScareFest 2013 is coming to Lexington on September 13th-15th. Pathfinder Society play will be available each night, with seven tables running on Saturday the 14th. Check the Warhorn site at http://warhorn.net/scarefest/schedule/day.php for early sign ups for games. Admission for a day is $25.
  • I am currently in the process of feeling out the local brick and mortar stores who carry Pathfinder products. Hopefully within a few weeks we will be able to start having scheduled events within the area for Pathfinders to participate in. If you have any locations you feel would be suitable to host a regular session or would like to help out in any way, please drop me an email from the contact link on the Navigation panel.
